March 2026 – Celebrating Female* Lineage No. 3

WORKSHOP & GATHERING on SATURDAY, 07.03.2026, 10:30 am – 5:30 pm

Arrival to workshop site: 10:00 am

LOCATION: Lake Studios, Scharnweberstrasse 27, 12587 Berlin-Friedrichshagen

We continue with the series ❤️. Let’s meet in the studio on March 7th to reflect and restore and on March 8th we go out on the street!

The collective setting of this workshop makes time and space for strengthening women* across generations. Re-threading and celebrating female* lineage, reaching from those who came before us, to those who will come after us. We spend time moving in the studio and time working outside. Moving, writing/drawing, talking. We tune into our bodies, expand into movement, connecting in and breathing out. Together and alone we brew over and formulate questions and necessities. Drawing on the offerings of our everyday lives we connect and share experiences, moving and unfolding alongside each other.

I invite you to bring photos, objects, materials and offerings that support you in connecting with your personal female* lineage, be it from your family or from your lineage of friends, mentors, allies.

Come as you are, young, middle-aged, older, old – from age 10 onwards. Together with a trusted ally in the room when under 14. Open to the wild variety of women* and girls* – cis, trans, queer, x.

Sliding scale 90€ – 150€ (15 – 35€ for young people / daughters* up to around the age of 18/19, unwaged/students 50 – 70€).

If you want to participate but the fee is an issue for you, please get in touch, no explanation needed. Depending on the sector we are working (or not working) in, our access to resources can be dramatically different!

The workshop is held in German and English as needed (spoken language). The studio is wheelchair accessible. It is always possible to take breaks and choose personal pathways throughout the day. Any inquiries on accessibility/variations of participation: please get in touch.

Bring your own food and drinks for the day. Cookies and tea will be available throughout the day. Bring your own blanket/mat if you have one you particularly like and personal drawing/writing materials as needed. Please wear or bring clothes you can comfortably move in, including full rain/outdoor gear for moving comfortably on site.

I very much look forward to spending this day with you!

2025 – Publication (book chapter): Dancing with/in Atmospheres

The book Contingent Agencies. Inquiring into the Emergence of Atmospheres (2025), edited by Alex Arteaga and Nikolaus Gansterer is now out!

Published by Hatje Cantz it’s a beautiful compilation stemming out of Contingent Agencies, a long term artist research project & interdisciplinary symposium by Nikolaus and Alex.

My chapter Dancing with/in Atmospheres is one glimpse into meeting temperatures, light/dark, wind with and through the body.

The publication is open access and is available for download here.

2024 – Publication (video essay): Dancing with World

Towards the end of 2024 my video-essay “Dacing with World” was published as part of ‘Listening With Earth’ – the companion issue for ‘Ecologies of Embodiment’ in the Journal of Embodied Research (JER) 7:2 (2024), co-edited by Doerte Weig and Raffaele Rufo.

Both issues of JER offer a series of video articles problematizing the notion of the ‘more-than-human’ and exploring listening-with as a speculative and generative (eco)somatic practice. It was a long journey until publication and my contribution has some shakiness. But look at it anyway and tell me what you think – you’ll at least see some beautiful images from Suomenlinna and my work space : ).
